UOP Shadow Mark III

Designed by Peter Bryant, the UOP Shadow Mark III was one of the ultimate big-block Chevrolet-engined Can Am cars. The first Shadow race car as featured on the cover of RT Nichols had his cloak and in August of 1969. Great collection Brian Im a huge fan of the Scalextric Shadow.

The story of the Shadow DN4, arguably one of the greatest Can-Am cars ever built, is a convoluted one that involves some of the biggest names in motor racing history. Shadow Racing Cars was a Formula One and sports car racing team that was founded by Don Nichols in 1969.
